I usually don’t eat at fast-food joints, not because I don’t like bad food, but because I know I shouldn’t.

I happened to stop by Sonic’s (second time in my life) for a Chicago Dog. While I was waiting patiently I noticed this intercom box on the side of the restaurant, in the middle of the drive-through lane. The main intercom for ordering is five feet away before you get to this one.

So, I guess if you’re too hungry to wait in your car to order, you can jump out of your car and order here.

Who uses this thing?
