Last day of class for the semester, now winter break! It’s pointless to try and teach kids the last week of school, so I just do fun lessons. I have two weeks of language camp, then my winter vacation will begin.
The hallways are silent, but the lockers are telling stories. I walked around the middle school (four floors) and took a few pictures of lockers that wanted to talk. So much drama, heartache, teenage politics and excitement was shared near these metal cabinets. And lots of snacks. This hallway is their life in between classes, outside of their home.
I kind’a remember locker-life, and I’m kind’a glad it isn’t mine anymore. After school I go home too, to my family. Where I belong.
