We recently had the Fall festival at school. The students spend weeks preparing activities with their home room teacher. Each classroom has a theme, such as a cafe, a game, a haunted room, or crafts. You pay a small fee, fifty-cents, or a dollar, and then you can enjoy the activity. Kaiser loves blue lemonade, so we went to Coach’s juice booth first. We strolled the hallways, greeting students and watching them play.
It’s nice to see students in comfortable clothes instead of the school uniform, and having fun instead of stressing over studies. It’s a day of reprieve and catharsis for everyone.
Tamara wasn’t able to join us as she was recuperating at home from a cold. Kaiser loved being there and being a part of the big fun day.
