I took Kaiser to the rice paddies to catch frogs. The side of the mountain (hill) we live by is used by some families as terrace farming. The bottom lots are used to grow rice. Frogs abound here.
The frogs are smart enough to hop safely to the middle of the paddies when we come by, we cannot actually go into the paddy. I led Kaiser along a mud trail by a drainage ditch and found some frogs in there. We caught a small one and a large one.
Later, we hiked over the mountain to a small pond were we could get muddy and not bother anyone or their crops. Kaiser caught his first frog here.
