We decided to let Kaiser start helping in the kitchen. We watched a couple of cooking shows that had guy chefs who were creative, skilled and funny. One of the guys had a simple recipe for pizza, so Kaiser and I made it together. We worked together while shopping, mixing, chopping, sauteing and baking. He did well.
Cooking isn’t difficult, it just takes time; raising dough takes time, but the reward for waiting is worth it! There are quite a few life lessons I hope he learns as we cook together: shopping, choosing ingredients, planning, waiting, cleanliness, sharing… All from a pizza.
