We found out our friend’s son is stationed with the 31st Army Division, which is a mile from where we live. It is a basic training base; we often hear shooting and light artillery.
On Sunday, we tracked him down at the chapel, filled his arms with homemade cookies and handed him a handwritten letter from his mother (I asked her to write something when we saw her the previous week).
We met this young man a year ago in Suncheon where his parents pastor a church. We also found out that he has worked with YWAM! We plan on having him over for dinner this week when he gets some free time.
